Vehicle description
1967 Ford Ranchero 500XL 390 This Ranchero is rather unique see the Marti Report one of 40 in this Paint and Trim code originally a Texas vehicle that ended up in Alabama where I purchased it and moved it to Arizona. Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions you might have before you bid, it makes it easier for both of us. I drive this car on the weekend and take it out for up to 40 miles at a time and has never left me on the road. Cons · Power Brake booster is missing the cam is too big for it to work but I have an NOS booster in the Box that goes with the sale · Somebody switched the seats looks like Galaxies seats to me-I have 1966 Fairlane seats with tracks and trim that need to be reupholstered that goes with the sale. · Has new Holley carb not the correct Autolite 2100 · Missing A/C compressor · Somebody added the 390 power bulges to the hood · Paint is wrong check the Marti Report clear coat is blistering · Driver side toe board has holes see picture also the area behind the seats where the spare tire goes has been repair inside with silicone must have leaked over the years-see picture of the passenger side floor pan. If you look at the picture of the rocker panel on the passenger side, it has been affected as well. Bondo in the Tailgate and some on the hood. Pros · Exceptionally low production numbers for paint trim and engine code · Minimal Rust none to frame rails or torque boxes · Body is straight · 4 New tires less than 100 miles on them · New front and rear bumper-comes with another set of front and rear bumpers as well · Many new parts in the boxes or installed , NOS rear brake light lenses, extra bed rail trim, door panels, carb, exterior door handles, antenna, wiper arms and new wiper blades, padded dash pad, new interior pillar pads and kick plates, the chrome trim piece that holds the door panels on has been re-chromed and another complete console that is in great shape with trim and the trim pieces for the console that is in the car now. I am sure I have forgotten other new parts that are in storage for the car but whatever I have purchase for the Ranchero goes with it. Rebuilt set of 1967 heads with harden valves seat and 428 CJ valves never ran since rebuilt still in the box. · Runs and drives great this is not the original H code engine at least not the top end it has GT Heads and 4V intake cast iron SCJ, here is a list of what has been done to the car. o New modern fuse block turn signal assembly. o New finish pieces for behind the seat that covers up the spare tire area o New remote drivers Mirror o New exterior Door Handles o New interior window crank and door handles o New Valve covers-old ones go with car. o Re-cored radiator o New water pump o Gas tank cleaned and sealed. o New T-stat, hoses, Belts o Rebuilt power steering ram o New master cylinder o Headers o New Shocks o Short dump exhaust o New front calipers and shoes-kept the originals they are in a box. o Rear end has been serviced. · Most of the trim script pieces come with the car. · Multiple sets of Hubcaps o Options · Power Steering · Power Front Disc Brakes · Tinted Glass · A/C · Limited slip 3.00 rear · Courtesy Light Group This Ranchero in my opinion need to be taken back to its original color and the restoration process finished and you would have one unique vehicle. Once again please ask any questions you might have and good luck bid often and bid high. God Bless
