Vehicle description
1967 Pontiac Firebird. I have owned this car since 1976, and I will give you the entire history. The original engine was an overhead cam engine with a 2-speedautomatic transmission. I ran it this way for a few years, then pulled them out and replaced them with a Chevy 327 with a 3-speed tranny. After a few years I replaced that with a Chevy 250 straight 6 engine and 3 -speed tranny. It was last on the road in 1984. It has been garaged since 1994. It needs the electrical harness replaced as it had electrical problems starting the car. This occurred after an attempted theft. It cannot be rolled out of the garage,so all pictures are taken inside. All inside gauges are original. Seats and carpet are original, but there is mold on the seats. It does not have the original shifter. If purchasing the car for parts, I can tell you that as far as I know, no fenders were replaced. Also, all glass is original, but note that there is a crack in the windshield. This occurred after it was taken off the road, caused by ice. So basically, I know of nothing replaced when I purchased the car in 1976 and I never replaced any glass or had any body work done. Great“donor” car if parts are needed for a ’67 Firebird restoration. No bill of sale– bought it from a private person in 1976. As far as paperwork is concerned, there is no “title” as this did not exist in the 1970’s in NY, at least not fora car this old. I do have the NY registration from 1983, 84 and 85. In a search with NY DMV they say “A person or dealer who sells a rebuilt salvage vehicle must provide the new owner a disclosure statement regardless of the vehicle"s age.” So I can provide a notarized document stating that I am the owner and that I am selling the car to you. Vehicle sold completely "as-is". The car is in north Queens in NYC and will require a flatbed for transporting as it has not rolled since it rolled into the garage in 1994.
