Vehicle description
1967 Dodge Coronet 440 4 door sedan, 3 speed automatic. All original sheet metal, no rust on frame, solid car. Engine has about 50 miles on its top end rebuild.
Small cam, new lifters, MSD electronic ignition swap, new plugs and wires, electronic vacuum advance conversion, electronic choke conversion, Edelbrock intake and carburetor, Vintage Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers, flushed out coolant system, all new lubricating fluids within the last month.
Brand new brakes from the master cylinder down to the brake shoes. Hooker headers, 2 1/2 inch exhaust, newer mufflers, and 3.5 inch tail pipe extensions.
The rocker panels, upper body panels, trunk, and tail light panels have been wrapped in lake blue vinyl, and the hood is wrapped in flat black. Roof is sprayed with flat black vinyl as well, but could use another coat or two. Not stock in any way, but the original paint can still be seen on the side panels. Tail lights have been converted to LED for safety (1967 tail light bulbs weren"t known for being exceptionally bright), with factory wiring still in tact if you want to take it back to stock. Side trim, tail light trim, rear panel trim, side lettering, grille, headlight bezels, and grille surround have all been finished in "metallic black chrome", and if you look closely you"ll see a few custom one of a kind touches (hint. .one of the pictures is dedicated specifically to one of them).
Interior is done in white and blue vinyl and I"m absolutely certain it isn"t stock. .but it sure does look nice. Brand new speakers throughout. dual 4 inch speakers in the front, 2 6x9 Kicker DS speakers in the rear, Rockford Fosgate 300-1 amplifier powering a single Kicker Comp 10 inch sub in the trunk. Plenty of power for more, but I never found the need to rattle the windows. All powered with a standard CD player unit hidden nicely in the glove box.
American Racing Outlaw wheels wearing 1 year old rubber keep the car on all fours.
Being a 1967 MOPAR, this car comes with a few spare parts, a factory service manual, and it"s fair share of normal classic MOPAR quirks. It drives like a boat (but that"s one of the beautiful things about classic old MOPARS), growls like an angry bear, and turns a whole lot of heads as it"s going down the main drag.
Solid driver, but I would caution against making a cross country journey without having your mechanic give you the all clear first.
Reasonable reserve, and an exceptional buy it now price. Deposit payable via paypal, with remainder due within 3 days of auction close. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Keep this in mind as you bid.
Car is located in Stafford VA, and if you"re local, I welcome you to come take a look and listen prior to bidding. You"ll not be disappointed.
Car is for sale locally as well, so if it sells before the auction ends, I"ll have to pull it down.
If you have questions, don"t hesitate to ask. Good luck, and happy bidding!
