Chevrolet Corvair 500 two door hardtop (1967)

Harleysville, Pennsylvania, United States

Vehicle description

NO RESERVE Fuzzy Dice Autos has up for auction a classic 1967 Corvair 500 two door hardtop. This Corvair features a Power Glide two speed automatic transmission and its original 95 horse power six cylinder motor. The working speedometer shows the mileage at 22,175 but because the clear Pennsylvania title indicated “mileage Exempt”, the actual mileage is unknown. In our industry the car is considered in “driver quality” condition. Meaning it’s not a show car but can be driven anywhere and often and still being welcome to any car show and cruise night. The body is totally rust free. Zero body filler anywhere. The floors are solid and the underside is rust and damage free. With the exception of a minor dent on the passenger side panel and some typical road wear, the body is very nice. The paint appears to be original to the car. It’s a bit dull but still presents well. The aftermarket chrome wheels and brand new tires show the car off nicely. The chrome bumpers are excellent and all the glass is intact. The interior with the exception of the driver’s bench that could use recovering is in great all around condition. The back seat, headliner, dash and new carpeting are great. Same can be said about the door panels and armrests that are original to the car. The dash gauges and original AM radio all function. The original motor runs strong without any oil or fluid leaks. No smoke blowback or any other issues. The car drives straight, quick and very responsive. The two speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. She handles beautifully on the highway and through the country turns. I wouldn’t hesitate using her as my daily driver. So keeping it in the present condition or bringing it to the next level with little expense, this is a classic that continues to rise in collector value. We are offering this car with a NO RESERVE meaning that when the auction ends the highest and final bidder gets to own this classic time piece and experience many years of fun and enjoyment. Please be certain that you intend to buy the car before placing your bid. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any inquiries and/requests for more information. Best of luck bidding.
