You wont find another one like this AT ANY PRICE! Clean title in hand current tags -drive it home. No Pay Pal. Cash, Check or Bank Transfer works for me. Buy it now price is 5500. Vehicle is for sale locally so auction subject to end early. I"ve been to the rodeo a few times, so no scammers please. No bids accepted from bidders with less than 5 positive feed-backs unless you contact me first. Car does not leave until funds have cleared. I can assist with shipping and or delivery arrangements . . .REPEAT NO PAY PAL and I can store the vehicle for a reasonable amount of time once payment has been made. Remember this is a 57 year old antique and as such there will be little things that need attention. This is a relist, It fell just 100 dollars short before my 6,000 reserve. On Sep-04-18 at 09:23:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Answer to question: Does it run and drive? Yes, it Runs and drives. and starts right up. That"s the good news. I want to be up front on the things that bug me. I can see that the chokes are fully open so that makes it cold blooded. The carbs definitely need somebody who can dial them in better. Takes a few minutes to warm up plus to keep it from stalling when you drop it in gear we have the idle set pretty high. That"s not an ideal situation for the power glide. Out on the highway it"s really fun runs along 60 70 no problem, but driving around town will be a bit aggravating until you are able to dial in those carbs. The trans is strong no slipping etc. These never had a "PARK" so one has to use the e-brake when you shut it down.
The brakes are good but not like disc, so you have be aware of that. Heater not hooked up Only one wiper working not sure what that needs. Lots of extra parts and the legs for the rear seats are stored in the back. Lights and turn signals all function. As do the turn signals (but not self cancelling at this time)
Good spare and jack. Of course the best thing of all is amazing sheet metal, I have looked at others out there and they all seem to have rust and or don"t run. If I wasn"t 78 years old and in a little better health I would love to massage this thing into the star of cruise night. Hope this helps.
