Vehicle description

This listing is for my much loved 1967 Austin Healey Sprite. I bought this car seven years ago and I have replaced almost every major part over the last few years as part of a planned restoration. Please do not let the primer in the pictures fool you. This is the unique year that still has a really rare metal dash and the 1275 engine. It"s truly a collectors year. This car runs and drives EXCELLENTLY and just need someone with the time to do the final prep work and paint. The engine and driveline is bullet proof and this car pulls hard. Did I mention that this car does not leak oil? I am selling it because we have another child on the way and and I just do not have the time to finish the car. Do not miss out on an extremely solid collector"s car. There may be cheaper cars out there but they will surely cost you more to get them to this level. My loss is your gain. Please do not hesitate to ask for additional information or pictures. The car is also listed locally.
Here is a list of work that has been done to the car from front to back: Radiator - Original Downflow Radiator welded and cleaned Alternator Conversion- Converted to negative ground Water Pump - New Engine - Professionally rebuilt by Jim Clark at Engine Renaissance ltd ~ 500 miles ago. Spatter Pattern VP2 Cam, ARP fasteners, Spin on engine oil filter, new distributor, Carburetors - Rebuilt twin SU"s with performance air cleaners Transmission - Professionally Rebuilt rib case by John Esposito at Quantum Mechanics and new clutch ~ 500 miles ago. Rear End and axles - All seals replaced Brakes - Added a Moss power brake kit, new pads and rotors up front, and new shoes in the rear. This car stops on a dime. Suspension - New leaf springs, urethane bushings, rebuilt kingpins, ball joints, and new wheel bearings Tires - Plenty of tread and mini-lite wheels Windshield - New Steering Wheel - Vintage, Restored Moto-Lita Bonnet - Very tight and in pretty good shape. Seats - Black Vinyl, no rips and good cushioning Radio Console I have tons of extras that can come with the car. The body very recently came back from full sill and structural welding and has had all major rust dealt with by Rogers Motors. I can supply you with the pictures and copies of the bills. The car is ready for final body work and painting. Please bid only if you intend to buy.
