Offered here is a 1967 Austin Healey BJ8 MKIII 3000 Dual-Carb. This BJ8 has been extensively restored by an Austin Healey specialist in 2018. The car is in excellent condition. The restoration included:
· Complete disassembly and re-paint.
· Wheels: reconditioned original wheels, new tires and inner tubing.
· Interior:
o New Ambla interior
o Everflex top
o Everflex boot
o New vinyl seating, door panels, dashboard, armrest, console, back seats, back rest, door arm pad, front seat belts, dashtop.
o New glovebox, gear level surround, switch escutcheon, indicator warning lights, heater control and bezel, push and pull knobs, cold air and heater cables, etc.
o All new console switches.
· Chrome trim:
o New front and rear bumpers, headlight surround, grill, grill surround, grill top crowl, both side ad flashers, front and rear wing beadings, console trim.
o Reconditioned trim for front windshield surround, windshield posts, and vent window posts.
· Glass:
o New windshield, door glass, and vent window glass.
· Trunk:
o New trunk trim, rubber seals, trunk handle, gaskets, emblems, spare tire strap, battery bracket, battery hold down, spare tire support, battery tray and tire strap bezel.
· All new rubber seals, door panel shut pillers, rebuilt fuel gauge, oil/temp gauge, speedometer, tachometer.
· Chassis:
o Entire chassis was subject to a coat of polyester filler and was fully seam sealed from the entire underside, trunk bay, cockpit, and engine bay prior to painting.
· Engine:
o Fully rebuilt
o New pistons, piston rings, rod bearings, freeze plugs, cam bearings, reconditioned cam shaft, reconditioned lifters, etc.
o Rebuilt original carburetors
