Vehicle description
Custom built by Classic Roadsters in 1991, this Sebring Replica model has 351 CID V-8 Ford Windsor (M) block bored to 402 CID, B&M Quicksilver automatic shifter, a new Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, a 9" Ford rear end cut down and replined/positraction, power assisted disc brakes front and rear, BF Goodrich Comp T/A225/60R tires, many recent repairs to fuel and cooling system. It is a show stopper. Varoom, Varoom!
Sellers Caveat: This car was built for the drag strip. It is not a car one would attempt to do a Gymkhana at Mid-Ohio or race at the Indianapolis 500. It is a show car and one you can be proud to drive around on weekends. I lived in Florida and benignly allowed some of the finish to oxidize in the afternoon sun. It won"t take much effort to restore it"s luster. I have not been able to drive it as often as I wish because I have nerve damage in my right foot and moving my foot back and forth from the accelerator to the brake is now very difficult for me.
I have sold it 2 times in the past 3 weeks on but both sales fell through.
One buyer was from California and he failed to do his due diligence about the pollution requirement in that state. The engine is 29 years old so it is possible that it could be grandfathered in to pass the requirements, perhaps? Another buyer wanted to fly from New York and drive it home. I said absolutely not, that is absurd. This car must be transported.
