Vehicle description
1966 Ford F100. Two-owner California Truck – I still have the original black California license plates that came with it! The plates were touched up and restored about 15 years ago. Original 352 V8 Manual transmission – “3 on the tree” column-shift Runs and drives, shifts beautifully. This truck is complete and in amazing shape. It was purchased new in 1966 from Turner Ford in Fremont, California (I was given the dealership license plate bracket from its original purchase), and has remained in California until 2011. In 2011, it was moved out to the St. Louis area, where it has remained garaged and only taken to shows. My Uncle told me that he purchased this truck from the original owner. When he bought it in the 1990s, there had been a slide-in camper in the bed its entire life and that is why the bed is in such nice condition. The cab mounts are strong and intact. It hasn’t been out in the rain or the weather since it arrived in St. Louis. It has been driven in parades and on the occasional sunny weekend. It is not a trailer queen, but it is darn nice! I have several boxes of original and extra parts including the original gauge cluster (in working condition – no cracks or splits), the original canvas washer fluid bag, extra cans of paint with the mixture codes on them, and some extra aluminum trim. I’ll include photos of some of the extra parts. I have the original stock radio and all the necessary trim pieces. All parts are neatly and safely stored. I have tried to describe this truck and its history to the best of my ability. Please message me with any questions. If you are in the Midwest, I am happy to meet you and show you the pickup. The truck has a clear title in my name. It is located about 45 minutes north of St. Louis. I am happy to coordinate with a domestic or international shipping company if needed, but full payment must be made before the vehicle leaves my home.
