Vehicle description
1968 Ford F-100 4WD, 302 V-8, Contractor Package.
The engine was swapped sometime in the past with a 1969 302 - original equipment was 300 I-6 I rebuilt the 302
Interior and Exterior can be seen in the pictures. There is rust on the body panels, in the usual places. Floorboards are OK, Bed was very rusty, so I cut out most except the cross-beams and put in wood instead. Wood has weathered over the past 3 years.
Guages:
Speedometer - works great Odometer - it counts up, but who knows how many times it has turned over Oil Pressure - works RPM - needs a wire attached that came loose Voltmeter - works Fuel Guage - not working Stoich (Rich/Lean/Stoich) - works Features: Dual exhaust, no cats, just mufflers New battery New Brake Master Cylinder and good brakes 4wd transfer cases/transmission works great 4 on the floor manual transmission Recent install of rebuilt manual steering box Runs great MSD Ignition Comes with the aluminum truck box in the back CB installed, but needs an antenna to work Tailgate was bent, did my best with bondo, latches with a gate latch on the inside, opens/closes just fine Needs body panel rust repair and paint - I painted it with laquer paint, and I"ve never done auto painting before - it shows, it"s not a constant blue color It will haul some heavy stuff, has standard Class-IV receiver as well. Good vehicle for someone who wants to do some body work to fix up body panel rust and repaint - straight and good mechanical condition.
