Vehicle description
1966 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible *RARE* with 361 V8 engine with 727 automatic transmission. Starts every time and runs great. There were over 250,000 Coronets made in 1966, but fewer than 3,000 were convertibles and only about 950 had a big block engine so this is a rare car. Vehicle has 73,000 original miles and is in excellent condition. All original parts have been maintained, but upgrades include:
Four barrel Carter carburetor
Dual exhaust
Aluminum valve covers
Aluminum radiator with electric fans
Higher output alternator
Power disc brakes
Retro 17-inch wheels and tires
Configured as a 383 tribute car
Convertible top is fully functional. Seats have been recovered, but otherwise the interior is original and in excellent condition. Center console automatic shift. Original paint color was red. Respray was done at some point. All original wiring. The car has no rust perforation - very little rust at all as it was garaged in Tennessee for over 30 years. I am looking for a buyer who wants to own this car, not resell it. No resellers please .
