“The vehicle is in good running, driving, stoping condition. A recent compression engine compression test shows a healthy outcome. The underside is in great condition (please see pictures). There is a crack in the front windshield. There are some minor rust areas that would be addressed as the car should get a new paint job because the top coat is peeling in some areas and with some chips. There is one small tear on the drivers seat in the original interior. The engine has no VIN or engine code stamping on the front lip (blank). Please ask questions and request more pictures if interested. I recommend in person inspection or through third party if available.”

Vehicle description

1966 BUICK RIVIERA FACTORY GS
Of the 45,348 Buick Rivieras produced in 1966, only 4,837 had the GS package (heavy-duty suspension, PY code performance axle 3.42 ratio with positive traction, Special sportier BS code transmission, chrome air cleaner, aluminum valve covers, and GS badging). The L Code “Shadow Turquoise” is not only one of the years most excellent paint colors, it is also rare with only 1372 (3.03% of run) produced. The exterior is complimented in combination with the original black “Strato” bucket seats and aviation inspired horseshoe shifter console. The interior sports an elegant “wood” custom steering wheel, installed in 4,171 (9.2%) Rivieras produced in 1966. Crowning this muscular luxury vehicle is the infamous Super Wildcat dual-quad-barrel carburetor setup, which brings serious get-up-and-go with boosted horse power. The flexing body lines are armored by the one year only 1966 turbine wheel covers on steel wheels with new Redline Coker BFG Silvertown P225/70R15 radial tires. Other notable options of this rare vehicle include shifting console & deluxe bucket seat, power windows, power driver seat, "remote" drivers side review mirror, w orking hideaway headlights, power 3.25 lock to lock quick ratio steering, cornering lamps, and newly installed correct NOS parts (hazard flasher lever, oil cap, windshield wiper blades).
