The car was fitted with Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads for its 289ci V8 as well as custom red and black upholstery Installed in 2016 after 2015 purchase. Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, an 8″ rear end, Magnum 500-style wheels, a Hurst shifter, and a CD player. This Comet has a clean Oregon title.
The body wears a Beautiful Paint Job Back to The Original Poppy Red That is was in 1965 that was applied under previous ownership and is accented by a black vinyl roof.

Upholstery Styled just like original was fitted with custom red and black vinyl seat covers, and black carpets line the floors. A center console was standard on the Cyclone, while aftermarket accessories include a Hurst T-handle shifter and a CD player mounted below the padded dash. I have loved driving this car and since built i have driven just over 4,200 miles in Six years, and actual mileage is unknown. The 289ci V8 was built by Flying V Motors of Portland, Oregon, and features aluminum cylinder heads as well as a four-barrel carburetor and intake manifold from Edelbrock. Finned valve covers and an aluminum radiator have also been installed along with a replacement power steering pump.
A four-speed manual transmission routes power to an 8″ solid rear axle. Aftermarket dual exhausts are cut short to exit below the car. A walk-around, start-up, and idling video is shown below. https:/ youtu.be/93ZM0zZfI_M
