Vehicle description
Vehicle Details 1964 Volvo P1800. This is a running and driving P1800 Volvo Coupe. I have a clean/clear Utah title in my name. Please look closely at all of the photos. The reserve price is well under my Volvo's value. This is a 57 year old Volvo, and it has a few issues, and I want to be sure the new owner knows exactly what they a getting. I recognize the problems buyers experience in buying a car without being able to test drive it, and personally check it out. With this in mind, I will outline in detail the positive aspects of my Volvo P1800 as well as the problems. First the positives: This is a good running Volvo. From the photos you can see that the body is in good shape, and the interior is useable as it currently is. The engine sounds good, doesn't smoke, doesn't leak fluids, or make any unusual sounds. The body is in good condition. The doors align properly as well as the hood and trunk lid. All the glass is good and the windows roll up and down. The paint is not show quality, but it looks good up close. The interior is useable, but is not original. The tires have good tread. On the negative aspects: The engine is running off of a small auxiliary gas can. The original gas tank is still in place, but leaks. The gas tank needs to be repaired or replaced. I have found original P1800 gas tanks on-line. The transmission shifts properly and the Volvo drives straight. The brakes work and stop the Volvo, but are a little soft. The emergency brake works properly. With the gas tank replaced, the Volvo would become a daily driver. There are some minor dings in the paint, but there is no rust in the painted portion of the body. Underneath the Volvo, the dog legs are rusted. A complete set of dog legs and floor pans come with the Volvo. I don't think the floor rust is critical, but to make it show quality, all of the body panels necessary come with the car. It has a set of aftermarket rims, but the original rims/wheels come with the car. The seats, currently in the car, are not original P1800 seats. These seats are in good condition and are useable, but the original seats, which are tattered, come with the car. From the photos, you can seat the P1800 Volvo shop manuals. The cars comes with more parts than I can list - again, please look closely at the photos. All of the parts shown in the photos come with the Volvo. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give me a call. My number is (801) 745-5835. I will gladly answer any questions you have regarding my Volvo P1800. The milage of 27950 is what shows on the odometer. If you have less than (5) positive feedbacks on Ebay, please call or message me on Ebay's message system before bidding. I want to be sure this is a good straight forward auction with no scams. Good luck bidding and I hope the Volvo finds a good hope. I bought the Volvo to restore, but I'm restoring a 1963 Austin Healey and can't afford to do both cars. I will assist the shipper you select in having the Volvo shipped anywhere in the world.
