Original Comet Caliente 289 auto, this car was taken down to bare metal, (only the floors needed a small patch), shock towers removed, 9" pinned rear was installed and custom drivetrain, then painted with Dupont Raptor Red and PXR black stripe. Speedway drop straight axle w.disc brakes. Vintage Cragar 15X3 drag SST"s. 351C 4-bolt main block, Venolia max dome custom pistons, +017". Quench chamber 4V heads. Holley Dominator intake with chrome Dominator carb, Crower roller cam. Custom Big Dawg headers. Mcleod hydraulic 11" clultch. Lakewood Scattershield. Correct toploader for the 64 Comet with custom crossmember. Custom poly motor mounts. 4.56 gears. AFX style traction bars. Steel braided brake lines. Custom interior.
