Vehicle description
An original 1964 Mercury Comet with 404 trim level. Mileage is genuine. The car is in very good condition. It was parked in 1999 and not driven again until 2018. In 2018 all the mechanicals were inspected and repaired as needed to put it in A-1 mechanical condition. The engine is original, and as far as I know has not had a rebuild. It runs great. The transmission has been serviced, all external leaks fixed (seals, gaskets, etc.) and all adjustments made. It shifts and pulls flawlessly. This car was bought from the daughter of the original purchaser. Everything works as it is supposed to. I The valve cover gaskets were replaced and photos of the engine with the covers off showing how clean the engine is inside are in the ad. The seats were recovered with as near to original material as could be found and look fantastic. All moldings and trim are intact and in very good condition. It is easy to see this car has been cared for throughout its life. Email me with any questions or if you need additional photos.
