This is a very complete , dry and original 1964 Mercedes Benz 300SE . A total of 5400 were produced between 62-65 . This one in particular has remained with the same family since the mid 80"s . it has sat idle for the last 10 years . it does start , but i would recommend a complete inspection before attempting any long distance road trips .
The paint is all original . The body is free of any dents, rust and bondo . There is some surface rust on the hood , but nothing has penetrated the metal . The interior is all original and in decent shape . There is one tear on the drivers seat . The headliner doesn"t have any rips os sagging . All of the glass is original with the German stamping .
i will gladly answer any questions , but my knowledge on these cars is limited . I have done some research and learned that this car came equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and that there were only 5400 produced which i found intriguing . I purchased this vehicle with intentions of having it restored , but i am not in a position to undertake this project .
