Vehicle description
1964 Corvair Monza convertible with a four-speed and 140 engine. It"s basically an unfinished project. The car started as a 64 110 with a PG. It was converted to a four-speed with a new clutch. The engine was rebuilt a few years back and has about 1000 miles on it. It has Deep Seat 140 heads, 20 over pistons, oversize cam, rebuilt primary and secondary carbs, electric fuel pump, Roger Parent linkage, Performance Corvair Electronic Distributor, front and rear suspensions rebuilt with all new bushings, NOS GM gas tank, and most likely other stuff I"ve forgotten about. The body is an older restoration (not by me) the floors were repaired (not by me). The driver"s door has a dent and there are knicks in the paint. The interior seats are in great shape, glass is good, top works and has one small hole. The interior has a Spyder dash and new wires have been run up for gauges etc. that needs to be finished. The Car starts right away and runs great even after a long slumber and drives well. I can"t finish or enjoy it due to illness. Finish the interior, freshen up the body and you"ll have a run vintage convertible. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, The car is sold as is, where it is. Buyer must pick up or arrange their own shipping. 500 deposit due within 48 hours and full payment before you pick it up. I have some parts like the original steering wheel, rims and some other stuff that will go with the sale as long as the buyer arranges shipping or picks it up. Inspection in person is welcomed, and I"ll do my best to answer questions, but my memory is a bit foggy. Thanks for looking!
