Vehicle description
Up for sale is this absolutely FANTASTIC 1964 Buick Riviera, top of the line for it"s era, garage kept until recently AND runs and drives! With a repainted body (fancy brown over factory brown) that could look a little better, an IMMACULATE interior with a factory 8 track, power everything and even A/C, and a strong 455 Wildcat V8, this thing is just a touch up job away from being a perfect weekend road-boat. Back to the paint, the factory color was brown, but it had a full doors off repaint (I believe) at some point to a new, sparkly, shiny brown. Now this paint is a little cracked in some areas, and a little bubbled in others and a little scratched by a tool stealing idiot from Wisconsin (thanks Bruce) but overall, the coat really is beautiful especially in direct sunlight (after a wash). The exterior is basically complete aside from the finicky paint spots and any other issues that would naturally come with a car of this age. Going inside, there really isn"t much to say about the interior except that it"s frikin" BYOTIFUL. The interior is about as perfect as one can get with a car of this age, comfy, climate controlled and with a factory 8 track hanging in the passenger side foot-well. Automatic transmission so it"s mindless to drive, making it a true luxury retro cruiser. And that Wildcat V8 sitting in the engine bay will carry you around with no problem. This is a HEAVY car, no question but that big honkin" 8-Cylinder sitting a few feet ahead of you will get you to that local classic car show a few minutes earlier than Google Maps guessed it would take, and it"ll sound and look fantastic doing it.
