Vehicle description
Hi there. .I am selling my 1963 catalina convertible. I bought this car from the original owner in March, 2000. The car had 65,000 miles on it at the time, and was always garage kept. Since then, I have replaced the drivers side rear quarter and painted the car in it"s original color. I replaced the worn carpet, and put a stereo in the glove box (am/fm cassette) and placed kicker box speakers on the rear floor boards so I wouldn"t have to cut into the doors and ruin her originality. The dash pad is original, and uncracked, even the steering wheel is solid. I show the car as is, and get a lot of compliments. I have replaced the top motor, so the original top goes up and down just fine. The worst part of the car is that I had it painted without repairing the 2 dents in the passenger side (see photos) and there is a dent in the front fender and a dent in the trunk, and both bumpers have dimples and the front one has a crack in it. Most of this stuff is not noticable at first glace, and I have shown this car for years at car shows and most people just say how beautiful it is. I have more photos to share at shutterfly if you provide me your email address. Also, the frame and floors are solid. Where else are you gonna find a 63 Pontiac convertible that is solid, and reliable, with a working top, for this price? The only reason I have considered selling my baby is, I have another classic that I have sunk money into lately, and I could pay off some old bills. .
