Looking for a neat wintertime fixer-upper that you can have ready for springtime? 1963 Mercury Comet Custom Convertible, 260ci V8 engine, automatic transmission, Same owner for 35 years, Just out of longtime storage, Runs and drives however it would be a good idea to give this car a good once over before trying to drive it on a daily basis, Oil change, tuneup, etc. things from sitting, Solid southern body w/very little rust/body damage easily repairable, Driver"s side rear floorpan has some rust though (pictured) but just like the trunk overall the floorpan is solid, Paint is very old and has nicks, scratches, Trunk has surface rust but overall solid (see trunk picture), Black convertible top is old and will need replacing, Old original type interior, Glass is good, Driver"s side rear glass is off track, This car was driven to and from school and college back in the mid 80"s and had a blast with the top dropped, Overall a great father/son/daughter fixer upper that will make someone a very cool car and we would like to see this car go to a good home, Restore as original?
