Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Mark II is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work. Seller"s Notes All original and all there. Needing restoration. Lovely little roadster. Excellent base to make beautiful again. Vehicle Details One owner true barn find. I bought the car from the original owners daughter. In storage since mid 70’s. All original, never restored or modified. Excellent project. Trunk lid and driver’s door needing work. Underneath looks good except for the trunk tub. Frame seems solid. Bondo work done to the trunk lid-No accident/collision but she believes a branch fell on it years ago. The driver’s door appears to have compressed against something but is salvageable. Trunk lid maybe not. Original dual carb motor and components. All stainless trim and emblems present. Convertible frame is good. Floor on passenger side at right forward, has rotted through in a small area. Overall an excellent project base to bring back to life. Originally Ice Blue exterior, Black interior. All seat frames there. Center shifter boot in tact. Smiths gauges all there with oxidation on the brass ringlets. Mileage may be correct but not sure yet. I will update that fact later. Original spoke wheels and knock off spinners all there. Front hood face and radiator grills are excellent. Really needs to be seen but I got in many photos. It does roll and engine turns. I am cleaning out the tank and possibly tuning her up hopefully get her running. Has not been driven for many years. Junk was piled all around and on it smh. There are some extra parts in boxes included. Rare, restorable roadster as old as me. I’m not an expert on these vehicles but have researched a lot. You may know a lot more if you are reading this listing but I will try to answer questions best as possible. There is a fair reserve but will also entertain offers if you wish to do that if reserve is not met. I will certainly be there to help load on your trailer or carrier. Clear title I will hand you with the original owners name on it and a bill of sale from me. Some documentation is still being searched for and I will also update the listing with what I receive which of course goes with the car. Located in Maryland, 25 miles north of DC and 25 miles west of Baltimore. Let me know if you want to see it in person. I work mostly from home these days and welcome you. I am selling it because I am a Classic Mustang nut, k codes and Shelby cars and the passion is just not there for me. No games please and I will respect your time as well. Thank you and good luck Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
