Vehicle description
This is one cool car and one of the FIRST 300 Gran Turismo Hawks ever built! This great barn-find has been sitting dry storage since 1992. My elderly friend had a collection of Studebakers, this one being his favorite model. He purchased the car in 1992 with the intent to restore the car, but never got around to it. He only drove the car once and then parked it. And there it sat in his shop for 26 years until now. Car is honest, complete, and unmolested. Mileage shows 12,449. Mileage may not be accurate, but we found a receipt in the glove box showing a fill up in December 1984 at 10,764 miles. This car will turn heads.

Factory Order #32867 VIN# 62V 10281 (#281 built) Body tag 62V K6 526 Order date 10/11/61 Final assembly 10/19/61, South Bend, Indiana Shipped 10/21/61 to Studebaker-Packard Corporation on Quimby Street in Portland, Oregon Delivered to W.N. Brown at 7460 SW Canyon Road, Portland Oregon Factory Options: Ermine White with Black Vinyl Interior 4 Speed transmission, floor shift Tachometer Undercoating White Sidewalls Climatizer Clock From the Studebaker Museum, I have a copy of the production order, shipping ticket, and original owner"s IBM card.
Car rolls easily and engine appears to be free. Engine and transmission appear to have never been out of the car. Haven"t had the time to try and start it, but it woudn"t suprise me if it turned over with a fresh battery and fresh fluids.Typical rocker, floor & trunk rust, but easily fixable. All stainless and chrome appear to be present and accounted for. Glass is free of cracks. At some point prior to 1992, the shifter had been switched to a Hurst shifter - extra cool. You can go faster with that white shift knob, right? Additional windshield and passenger rear quarter included.
Car sold as-is. No Warranty. Information deemed reliable, but not guaranteed.
