Vehicle description
For sale is my 1962 Amphicar 770. Named the 770 because it would do 70 MPH on the road and 7 MPH in the water. This vehicle lives up to its name and does just that. It has been meticulously restored over the past year with the majority of parts coming from Gordon Imports. I am afraid to total how much I have bought from them to make this car perfect, but I stopped counting after $20k. The odometer shows 00012 miles on it, but cannot verify what the actual reading should be. The mechanical aspects have been inspected by my local Triumph motor man, and is running in great shape. The paint is beautiful and looks great on the water. The backseat was removed to allow for the pictures of the transmission, but has since been reinstalled. Top was also replaced during restoration. I cannot think of any problems this car has, other than I dont have enough to enjoy it on the water road more often.
