About this vehicle This 1961 Chevrolet Corvair is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. This is about as solid of a corvair of this vintage that you will find. I don’t see any evidence of any sheet metal replacement in the past. The only rust I’ve found anywhere is a few pin holes underneath the battery tray. She was last painted in the late 90’s and has been garage kept since. It’s not a perfect show quality paint job but it looks good and most importantly there’s no issues from rust or bubbling etc. I’ve tried to price this truck far better than any other I see anywhere. This truck is perfect for someone looking for a ready to enjoy driver quality Rampside. Original sheet metal cars that have been taken care of rather than restored always make better driving classics. She’s still got the original flat 6 with the 3 speed trans. Fires right up every time and runs out great. Shifting the gears in this rig fascinates me and is a real a pleasure to go through the gears. I have tons of pics and videos I’m happy to send.
