Vehicle description
You are viewing one of the best unmolested surviving Bug Eyes, with more integrity than most restored examples you will find here, and most anywhere else, Please view the photos to see what I mean. The original paint, although tired, lets you know what this body is really like. No rust or accident history gives you a body with alignment and shut lines that it left the factory with. Have a look at the undercarriage, and see how distinct the original factory spot welds are. You won"t find this on a restored one. The upholstery is also original, and nice enough to leave alone. Check out the tools, and the original unused spare. The mileage is correct, everything works as it should, and starts the moment you turn the key which is also the original FP series. This is an all numbers matching car, that comes with it"s original smooth case transmission, in perfect working order, while you drive it with the preferred rib case version. It"s a California car since new. I can have paint mixed to match, and have it professionally touched up, however I know there are many of you that want it left alone and kept just the way it is. So, I will wait until there"s a new owner, and let them decide which path should be taken. My reserve is realistic and not high to give everyone a chance to own a great one.
