“ USED - ASK ALL QUESTIONS FIRST - ALL SALES ARE FINALThe paint shines great but up close has some knicks in it. I have touch up paint from when the fender skirts were painted to match. The chrome is nice but I recently noticed on the rear bumper a small dull spot. The interior is nice, the carpet has some stains that might come out with a shampoo. The trunk is carpeted and could be cleaned and reglued. The gauges work, but the original radio does not. Starting to hear a very mild exhaust leak out of the driver side manifold...very mild but wanted to note it. ”

Vehicle description

1960 Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible, very rare car. This is an older frame off restoration from a dry climate, not a rust bucket by any means. Factory 394 / 4 barrel / auto / PS / PB / Power Top / fiberglass fender skirts / wide whitewall tires. The fuel system has been completely gone through recently, including a rebuilt carb. New front shocks. .drives great down the freeway. The car is very mildly lowered (static). The car sports era correct original Dodge Lancer 4 bar hubcaps that have been customized to be floater hubcaps meaning that when the car moves the hubcap stays in the exact position as when it is sitting giving it a floating effect. The pics speak for themselves, this car is in very good condition and is a driver. Red leather interior, black top. Needs very little to become a show car. I have read that 1960 Oldsmobile Convertibles were the Indianapolis 500 Pace Cars in 1960. (5,830) 1960 Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertibles produced compared to (79,904) 1960 Chevrolet Impala convertibles. As I mentioned its an older restoration and here are the reasons I say that. The paint shines great but up close has some knicks in it. Starting to hear a very mild exhaust leak out of the driver side manifold. .very mild but wanted to note it. The car is priced accordingly to an older restoration that you can get in and drive. Perfect car for bombing the family around in to the local cruise in.
