Vehicle Details This 1960 Cadillac 2 door hardtop is worth saving. I saved it from the crusher, with the help of some others. I am selling it to appease my wife who would rather have me around more then out in the garage for the next two years (she knows me well). My plans were to do the floors, trunk, rockers and quarter panel patching and put a 350 Ram Jet and turbo 350 transmission in it, to make it easier to have the extra money to have the interior restored correctly. For those die hards, the original engine and transmission are still in the car. Parts missing are the hood, deck lid and rear glass. (Carb, air cleaner, alternator, radiator…obviously from the photos seen) It’s a project but I would think most would agree, the car is worth saving…I’m just not the guy to restore it, so it’s up for sale. The car rolls freely and stairs perfectly to roll up onto a trailer and all four tires hold air.This car is a perfect candidate for a body swap onto a 1996 Chevrolet Caprice or Cadillac Fleetwood or Cadillac Limo or Hearse frame….so you get the 350 V8 power and automatic transmission with the fuel injection and air conditioning and all the other comfort features.
