About this vehicle This 1960 Austin Healey bugeye sprite is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Car includes a number of spare parts. In Connecticut, no vehicle over 25 years old has a title. You will receive a Ct DMV bill of sale and a valid copy of my registration. Vehicle Details This Bugeye Sprite is in show(not concours) condition. The 998 engine has been rebuilt as has the 4 speed transmission from a 1275 Sprite. Front brakes converted to disc and rear shoes recently replaced. The Minilite wheels and tires, including spare are new. The color is leaf green with a black interior and both are in excellent condition. The underside is as clean as the topside. No rust, no bondo and no fillers. Clutch replaced with engine rebuild. Radiator has been recored. For safety, 3 point seat belts have been installed. Exhaust system, including sport muffler, were replaced when the SU carbs were rebuilt. The front tilt hood is a pleasure when working on the engine or when the Bugeye is taken to a show. The factory hardtop is fiberglass and is painted same color as the car. Convertible top and tonneau cover are like new. This Bugeye is one of the best I have seen at British car shows. It is truly a beautiful car that needs nothing and is currently free of all issues.
