The MGA was in a completely different league to its predecessors. A new era sports car for its day, it was extremely stylish and an instant hit, selling more than 13,000 units in its first year of production. The MGA was a true 100+ mph sport car in standard form. This MG A was completed on February 25, 1959 with factory options including wire wheels, heater, adjustable steering column and windscreen washers. This MG A went through a complete two year, no expense spared, nut and bolt restoration in 2006-2007 by Lander’s Antique Autos of Elyria, OH. Since, it has remained in excellent collector ownership with limited mileage and exceptionally maintained regardless of use. An exceptional 1950’s sports car and one of the best driving, most reliable and fun sports cars of its period, this MG A is complete with its original books, workshop manuals, knock-off hammer, spare wheel and compete documented restoration with invoices and photos.
