Vehicle description
Vehicle Details 1959 Victress LaDawri, S4, Fiberglass kit car. I will consider trades! Get your piece of history! This is a very old and rare "Victress LaDawri, S4". It is an original Fiberglass shell with a 1949 roller frame. Please read through and view pics carefully. I can send more. Understand, this is a complete ground-up project. While it has beautiful lines, it needs a lot of love and everything else. The person before me covered the entire rear of the original body with a more boxy Mustang rear fiberglass look. It was done very well, but it is very boxy and modern compared to the original lines. I cut a small (4 by 12") piece off to reveal/verify that enough of the original body lines are still there. With effort, you can definitely go either way (original or the more modern look). From what I have been told and researched, there are only 4 (four) of these cars left in the States today. When I bought it, I had no idea it was as large as it is. It is a big car (think Crown Vic . . not MG of Triumph Spitfire, as I originally thought). This car totally fills my little one-bay garage. . which is another reason I need to see her go. It has no engine or trans, but it does have a rolling 1949 Ford rear and the noted Shoe Box frame, with a tow bar. The frame is solid except for one 4-6 inch spot just above the passenger door. It must have had a leak as there is rot through the frame in just that one spot, all else is clean and solid. It can def be fixed and boxed in. It is also right about where a brake pedal assembly should go, so you could kill two birds with one stone doing it that way. Again, the frame does roll and it can be towed and currently has a bolt-on tow bar. Come make this beauty yours! Take my lack of garage space, resources, and gumption and turn this very rare car into something to be desired by all at any car show. The Car is and has always been titled as a 1949 Ford. I have the paper title in hand. Important! I will def consider trades (old 40 or 50s Ford Pickup, F1 or F100. . an International Scout or Jeep, a fresh rebuilt Small or Big Block Chevy, a clean Fender or Gibson American, Bass or Guitar, or a Martin or Guild American Acoustic!).
