Car has completed 2727 miles since frame off restoration. The car has the original 283 c.i. 230 H.P (#3737739) block with cylinder heads (# 3782461). Car equipped with the optional 4-speed transmission (RPO code 685). Motor, cylinder heads and transmission were rebuilt at time of restoration. Other factory options on the car. RPO code 101 - Heater RPO code 102 – Wonderbar AM Signal Seeking Radio (still works-out of car) RPO code 276 - 15X5.5 wheels RPO code 677 - Posi traction rear axle 3.70. RPO code 419 - Aux. hardtop (new side/rear window glass, headliner w/ new weather stripping). Recent Signet Red w/ Snowcrest White coves paint (Nov 2017). Car also has new Al Knoch 1958 pebble grain charcoal seat covers, door panels and carpets with a custom “Corvette style” 15” leather wrapped matching charcoal steering wheel as well as the original 17” Corvette wheel. New white soft top and rear window (July 2017). All electrical wiring is new along with an upgraded 1958 Wonderbar Radio OE Replica with STEREO AM/FM – Bluetooth, stereo speakers and new electric clock. Car also a has new exhaust system, brakes, brake lines, shocks and steering components. Sold with (2) sets of Coker Whitewall tires (205/75R15) with correct Stainless Steel non-slotted wheel covers. All S.S. and chrome trim are in excellent condition. Original Carter AFB (needs rebuilding), original Corvette clock (non-working), Wonderbar Seeking Radio (works), Hardtop storage cart, Custom fitted car cover and misc. additional Corvette parts and manuals included with purchase. A complete redesign (one year only), the 1958 Corvette was a big deal and several 1958-unique features included the louvered or "washboard" hood, pebble grain interior, and of course those long beautiful chrome trunk spears.
