Beautiful Super widebody Porsche Speedster replica by JPS with Subaru EJ2.5 SOHC 4 cylinder 180HSP motor.($8000 upgrade over a VW motor) She has heat , CD stereo, custom mahogany trim pieces, and custom pedal set. The manual convertible top is tight and in excellent condition. The Subaru motor is water cooled with a front mounted radiator. The 4 speed VW trans has been beefed up by Rancho Transmissions to handle the 180HSP.The chassis is a modified VW beetle chassis. The paint is a beautiful jaguar grey metallic that has a brown tint in low light.Fit and finish is excellent. This speedster runs strong and handles very well at all speeds. There are a few touched up minor paint chips but the car presents very well and has won trophys at local car shows in its present condition. This car was also featured at the 2014 Carlisle Kit car nationals. I am the original owner and I am selling the car to buy the new midengined corvette. please text Jerry for any questions. Answer: NJ title reads 11427 28220 vin, Z 1974 VW Bee I had no problem registering the car with historic QQ plates. Rancho upgraded the 4 forward gears. You would have to call rancho for specifics. Reverse gear was not upgraded so you have to use moderation backing up. Other states title these replicas as the car they most resemble, but NJ hasn"t gotten there yet.
