I bought my car in 2006 from a local 356 mechanic who had a Coupe that was damaged in the rear. He had sourced a Cab that was damaged in the front and this is the result. I just wish he had used the Cab chassis number. He had put C disc brakes on the car just before I bought it. I built a breathed upon 912 fun engine and replaced the stock seats with later Recaros. I have the original seats, side window glass, and vent windows with door frame that I never installed as I liked the semi Outlaw look. The car is rust free and the twelve year old paint job has a few small dings and dents. The longs and pan are great and the front half of the pan was properly replaced at some time. The top is in good shape but will need adjusting once you put the door glass and vent windows. I have put 11K miles on the car. The engine is a 912 with Properly jetted 40IDF Webers, NPR big bore 1720 kit, new Maestro grind Elgin cam, 101.01 rods, new crank, and a PreMat full flow oil filter. I will be in Monterey all week putting on miles at the Pebble Beach festivities and checking my messages.
