I posted some before and after photos so you can see how nicely it cleaned up. I had my mechanic add the following: new tires, new exhaust, flushed the fuel system, rebuilt the carb. adjusted the push button shift linkage, brakes and load leveler and lots of small things. He also cleaned it and buffed out the original paint which looks great on most of the car. The only bad areas are the rust in the brows which look to have been bondod. The rockers look great. If you want a car you can safely drive while you fix it, this is the car for you, The interior is in great shape, might want to replace the dash pad. Th only thing I didn"t fix yet is the parking pawl. Mechanically sound, do the body work and have a great looking and great driving car. This was my dad"s car, we got to fix it for so he could have a few drives before he passed. Now it"s ready for it"s new home.
