“This is a rare 1956 Oldsmobile 88 Rocket 2-door. This was a barn find out of Grand Lake, CO that I acquired in 2011. There was no rust on the car, we had it painted back in 2012. The paint has held up really well. The motor and transmission are all original from what I can tell. As with a lot of these old cars, it has oil leaks (pretty sure it is the oil pan), tranny leaks. When I got this car I put a new Flowmaster 50 Exhaust, new generator, new tires & wheels, and replaced the gas tank. The car starts right up. It does NOT have power steering and it had a 3-speed transmission. The chrome is in excellent condition, we have attached a ton of pictures (https://imgur.com/LcFQZAl) to best describe the body & trim condition. I don't have much more information than what you can see as far as original specifications, I've enjoyed this car for quite a while and it's time to move on. This car, in my opinion, would be badass with a LS conversion.”

Vehicle description

A little bit about South Havana Motor Company, we have been a used car dealer since 1995 and have 100% feedback with Ebay, so buy with confidence in us that we will do our best to describe this vehicle to the best of our ability. There"s no dealer fees, only sales tax if you live in Colorado. We reserve the right to sell this before the end of the auction is the right offer presents itself to us. Feel free to ask any questions, I"ll do my best to get right back to you.
The longest I"ve driven it is about 60 miles one way so I"m not sure how comfortable I would be driving it across country. This car will easily drive up on a transport. I"ve driven my 1968 Buick Skylark convertible across the country twice to car shows and have only seen two other 1956 Rocket 88s. I think it"s a pretty rare find. We can help facilitate lining up a transportation company, there are a couple in Denver that are fantastic that we have used to ship stuff in the past - Accelerated Services 720-200-3100.
