Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight. Up for auction is a PROJECT 1956 oldsmobile. this car is a project. I am selling it for a friend .This car was being built as a low rider. The fellow building the car suddenly passed and his wife is selling the cars. The story im told is he bought this car many years ago. The owner took the car apart many years ago to build this custom .This is a super solid car. The only rust repair was done in the small panel below the deck lid. No rust ever anywhere else. The body was stripped. (90% of the bodywork is done. The body is in either epoxy primer or 2k primer. We installed his Fat Man front sub frame. The firewall is smoothed over. A vintage air heat and air unit was mounted behind the dash. A power brake booster and hanging pedal assembly was installed.The front and rear suspension are now set up for all the air ride components shown. The original steering column is mated to the rack and pinion .There are motor mounts in place for the 350 chevy shown in the picture with a turbo 350. All new wilwood brakes for all four corners. A 9 inch ford housing with axels is what it rolls on. Both front and rear bumpers have been re chrome plated. The complete interior comes with the car and is in very good condition.
