About this vehicle This 1956 Buick Special is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. I will send you my personal cell # Vehicle Details 1956 Buick Special This Classic runs and drives great, not to mention it has killer curb appeal! All original motor and power train. The Buick Special has front and rear coil spring suspension. The car has been professionally lowered using Eaton coil springs. 2” lowered all the way around gives the Buick a killer stance, but keeps factory ride quality. New OEM style shocks compliment the Eaton Coil springs. This car truly floats down the road. The rims are 20” black half moon and are brand new. Drum brakes front and rear have been rebuilt and adjusted. The motor and drive train are original to the car and I believe the mileage is correct. The Motor is a 322 Nailhead V8 and is in great mechanical condition. The transmission is the Dynaflow automatic and has been professionally serviced by my local transmission shop that specializes in these Dynaflow autos. The torque ball has been rebuilt with Factory original parts. This Buick runs and drives great and you can go anywhere in it! The body is in great condition with no rust that I can find. There are some imperfect spots, but that is common on a car of this vintage. The body is straight and dent free. The paint is also very good for its age, but NOT perfect. The roof is the worst area. It has some chips in the paint. They could be sanded and resprayed. The passenger side behind the door also has imperfections in the paint. Please review the pictures of the roof and passenger spot. The underside of the car is in great condition as well. There is no rust damage in the floors that I have found. The gas tank is new. The interior is in excellent condition and was redone at some point. The seats are blue leather with suede inserts. The carpet is in great condition and is also blue. The front seats fold just like they did in 1956! The back seat is big enough to take some friends for a cruise! Overall, if you are not familiar with this car, the interior is very similar to a TRI-FIVE Chevy. Always indoor kept! Clean and waxed! This Hotrod is a great weekend driver and very flashy at car shows! The Buick Special is a true classic and is very rare to find in this condition! Videos Exterior Exterior is in really good condition. This is a great “driver” car! Paint imperfections are shown in the pictures of the roof and passenger side behind door. The black paint has a great shineOverall, very straight body! ! Doors open and shut easily and the hood functions just as it should. This Buick is always kept inside. You won’t find a better looking Buick Special this close to original! ! Interior Interior is in excellent condition! Bench seats front and rear have been redone and are in excellent condition. Dash and door panels are all in excellent condition. All gauges work, except for the fuel gauge. Diagnosed as bed sender. Engine 322 Nailhead V8 runs great and would look killer with a fresh coat of paint. Original motor and drivetrain. Original air breather can be included with the car.
