Priced to sell! I need my garage space back. The 1955 model Chieftains featured completely new chassis, body and engine. The engine was the biggest news as this was Pontiac"s first V8. 1955 Pontiac Chieftain 4-door. 72,500 miles. Mostly all original, including original 287 cu in V-8 engine, and 3 speed automatic or "Hydra-Matic" transmission. Interior appears to all original including upholstery, except the new Bluetooth Compatible Kenwood receiver. Also, it appears the headliner has been replaced, or repaired, as it look too good to be 64 year old headliner. Paint is not the original. It was originally a 2-tone green and cream color, but this car looks great in black paint. Car is not restored as it not really necessary, unless that"s what you want. It runs great, drives great, and is daily driver if you wanted to. A couple of components are not the original, such as the voltage regulator and wiper motor.
