| “Due to the owners health this car was parked in 1978 in her She Shed in Azusa Ca. , I purchased this 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday 4 Dr Hardtop with excellent patina 2 months ago and making her road worthy with a new Windshield with seal installed, Newly rebuilt Original 2BBl Carb ,Fuel Tank with sending unit, newly rebuilt tredal vac booster and 4 wheel cylinders, newly rebuilt Original Radiator with new core new hoses, new fuel pump and some newer bias tires that I had from a Cadillac job last year. This 55 Olds has been driven locally only around the town comes with Ca. Title Only no fees owed. The Car is solid only the lower right fender has a spot and the right side floor pan rust has been cut out and a new pan will be welded in as you can see it in pics before installation. hood hinges will need attention as the hood ear area is not flush when closed sits up about 1 inch on both sides but able to push down some when closed.” |

Up for sale is this Original California 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday 4 Dr Hardtop with Excellent Patina Factory pwr steering pwr brakes and 4 way pwr bench seat that works Excellent. D ue to the owners health t his car was parked in1978 in her She Shed in Azusa Ca.
I purchased it 2 months ago and installed a new Windshield and Gasket and newly Rebuilt original 2 bbl carburetor and new Fuel Tank with new sending unit and all new brakes with newly rebuilt tredal vac power booster and 4 wheel cylinders New Water pump and newly rebuilt radiator with new brass core with new upper and lower hoses and heater hoses and new fuel pump and some newer bias ply tires that I had from a Cadillac job last year.
This 55 Olds has been driven locally around town and it drives very nice for a car that has been stored since 1978 the engine is a turn key start sounds like a sewing machine still has all the Original wires and plugs and points with cap never changed them and engine runs so strong and it comes with California Title Only no fees owed.
The original owner had purchased a nice Turquoise seat cover set in the 70"s and never installed it.
Update I decided to finish the Interior and in the works is a new white headliner will post pics when finished . I also have purchased a new Carpet kit for this model in Black will post when finished and will install. All 4 Door Panels are in very nice Original condition with only the right front door panel has some warped and dried out areas with cracks by window crank. The Car is solid all rockers are solid and floors only with surface rust No Rot only the right side floor pan has been cut out and a new floor pan has been welded in as you can see it in pics before installation and the lower right fender small rust hole has been repaired also .
All glass is good except right front door glass has a crack in it . Car comes with Original key that works on both doors and trunk floor is solid there is some old bodywork on right rear quarter panel and left front fender done has dings and small dents here and there but for the year it is a survivor and real head turner. The bumpers are original chrome with normal loss with surface rust .
If your local your welcome to come and test drive it. This 55 Olds Holiday is a very rare body style NO POST and it would make a great father and son project to finish together . I did buy some tail light lens for rear and front that are included and an older antenna that was in trunk . I never did any electric work on light work or signals but I do know the right rear brake light works probably easy fix new bulbs. There is much more minor items to finish on car but I just made it turn key start and drivable with brakes and cooling system reliable.
