1955 MG TF 1500 The MGs are noted for their terrific classic car two seater legacy. Since the 1930’s the last of the classic designs were of course the MG TF and the best of the TFs are of course are the ones that have the larger 1500 cc engine. The 1955 MG TF that you see here is the last of the classic MG’s with the large 1500 cc engine. It is also fully equipped with a full top, side curtains and a Tonneau cover. Also it has the rare optional luggage rack and the badge bar on the front. The three badges are included in this sale. 1500 cc are somewhat rare and most collectors find them more desirable. The engine and transmission are believed to be original. New tires and wire wheels. Good oil pressure and everything appears to be working well. The interior is believed to be original. The top is in good shape. The side curtains are new and in the silk pouches. Doesn’t look like the side curtains have ever been used. Four Speed Manual Transmission (no overdrive). Heater No radio. Gauges work. Gas gauge accessory with dip stick. Luggage Rack English Badges Underside is clean. Everything about this car is very tidy, the interior, the engine compartment and the underside. We will be posting odometer miles soon and the miles are believed to be correct but there is no paper trail from when the car was new to verify it. The car has the optional wire wheels and even the thin lined white wall tires. To add to the option list, the car is equipped with dual side view mirrors and wind wings. The car runs out as it should and will be a joy to drive for this summer and the coming fall.
