Chassis: Car Number: HDC46/4348 Engine Number: XPAG/TF/33502 Single-Family Owned Since 1957, 59k Miles, 1,250cc, Refurbished 2002-2003 by M & G Vintage Auto, Tuxedo, NY. This 1954 MG TF is fi nished in red over red and powered by a 1,250cc XPAG inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car was purchased by the seller’s parents in 1957 and has remained with the family since. A refurbishment in 2002-03 included new paint, upholstery, door panels, dash padding, and carpeting , an overhaul of the braking system, installation of a new wiring harness and more. A Brooklands-style banjo steering wheel has been added, and the stock wheel is included in the sale. Side curtains and frames are also included in the sale. The 1,250cc XPAG inline-four is equipped with twin SU carburetors, and with an 8.1:1 compression ratio which was originally rated at 57.5 horsepower. The engine was serviced but not rebuilt at the time as it was not necessary. The car drives beautifully and has been meticulously cared for since the restoration. An oil and fi lter change took place in July 2018. TF is o ff ered with a stock steering wheel, side curtains, manual, refurbishment letter and receipts, bill of sale, and clean New York title in the seller’s name.
