Vehicle Details 1954 Ford F100 shortbed custom cab. The vin tag on the glove box matches the vin number on the frame and they both match the vin on the title. The title is a good clean Utah title in my name that I will sign over to the new owner. I got the truck with the front fenders and hood off. They are put on with a minimum number of bolts just to see what I had. This truck has no engine, transmission, driveline , radiator or brakes. It is a roller. Great candidate for a modern engine swap. The frame is nice and doesn't appear have been damaged. it does have a small dent on the rear cross member. The bed sides are very straight. they do have some extra 1/4 inch holes in them. The rails are really nice. The stake pockets are solid with no rust and pretty straight. The front panel is bowed a small amount. the top is straight and solid. The tailgate has some damage but I think it is repairable. Hinges chains and latches are good. The crossmembers are straight and solid. The strips are junk. The right fender has some damage on the rear and rust in the front where it bolts to the running board, it looks like it is just in the reinforcement. The left fender has some minor dents and also has rust on the front, it looks like it is through the reinforcement and the fender. I don't think the rust is to bad it doesn't show from the outside. The cab. Back panel has some small dents and 2 1/4 holes drilled just below the rear glass. The bottom across the back is solid. the seam between the back and roof is solid. Both rear cab corners have rust about 2-3 inches up. Not as bad as most. Roof drip rails are good. There may be a small rust spot on the front right in the middle, hard to tell with out grinding it. The roof is really nice with two small dents on the back. The upper cowl is nice and the vent works. Wiper system looks to be intact. Firewall is good, it has a small tear about 2 inches long on the bottom where the transmission cover goes. Has both sun visors and the dome light. Dash has no dents but has a 3 inch hole where it looks like a tach was. It also has 1 extra hole that a toggle switch is in. Has a custom steering wheel. Heater and controls appear to be intact. the lower cowl on the right has rust it looks like it goes into the mount. sill panel is good. left lower cowl is also rusted, doesn't look as bad as right but the sill is rusted. Both doors are great with no rust and some really small dents. Hinges are solid with no slop. Doors open close but need adjusting The handles look nice. The window regulators work but need cleaning. Hood has some dents but is definitely repairable. No rust. There are no hood hinges. Great candidate for a flip hood, get rid of the terrible ford hinges. Hood latch and safety catch are there. Inner fenders are good with a small rust spot on each on the top rear. you cant see it with the fenders on. The radiator support and sides are good with no damage. Grille has some minor dents. The valance in my opinion is the worst. it is probably repairable but I would replace it. If you were going to paint or cover them the running boards are repairable. None of the glass is good.
