| “This 1954 Chevy is in good mechanical condition. Everything works as it should. There is NO cancer in the floors or frame, although there is very minor bubbling in the right rear lower quarter panel. You have to be close to see it. Vehicle description
1954 vintage Gasser style hot rod! Here are a few of the upgrades:
1966 ¾ ton Ford Falcon Econoline straight axle (has the bigger king pins).
There are 12,144 miles on this build.
From the same Econoline, a Ford 9” rear end was garnished and then fully rebuilt with new bearings, full spool with 456 gears, Dutchmen 31 spline axles, etc.
The engine is a ZZ502-502. So 502 horse out of the crate.
The transmission is a Chevy turbo 400, with the planetary gear out of a Chevrolet 700R, allowing for harder launches and more strength. It was built by a tranny expert who specialized in setting these trannies up for Monster Trucks
Power front disc brakes with dual master cylinder reservoir.
Custom ladder bars, custom frame allowing for straight axle application and tilt front end movement.
Custom 1950’s-1960’s style, white and blue interior.
Custom tilt front end designed to be opened and closed by one person.
2000 watt 10 speaker sound system.
Full instrumentation in the interior, gauges by WesTech, who also makes gauges for aircraft.
B&M floor shifter with notched seat to accommodate it. Plus Line Lock.
Tires were installed about a year ago and have about 200 miles on them. They are Hurst Tires, Diamonds in front, Pie Crust slicks in back.Wide Whites all the way around , including both sides of the front, all street legal. All mounted on Torque Thrust "D"s!
Custom roll bar, drive line hoop, kill switch, 5 point harness (2 for passenger and driver)
Heater, backup lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, brights, dome light – everything in this car functions even better than in 1954, as I built it primarily for the streets.
