Project Description:
1954 Chevrolet Corvette body project car with original VIN tag. This project is NOT for the faint of heart.
This is a 1954 Corvette with some of the major body panels. The original panels include the rear clip, the driver"s door (bare), the interior dash instrument panel, and part of the driver"s front fender. The rear clip also has a trunk lid and the trunk / deck lid hinge assemblies. The interior dash panel includes the section where the factory VIN tag was originally attached.
Every body panel on this car will need some repair work. There are no additional parts or body panels available for this project. Everything that is included is pictured in this ad.
None of the parts of this project will be sold separately. All of these parts together are a package deal.
Documentation with project:
The winning bidder will get a non-notarized Bill of Sale from the seller at no additional cost.
The seller can provide a notarized Bill of Sale, along with a CURRENT Alabama registration in the seller"s name for an additional fee of $100. I know it is hard to believe, but that is what it will cost the seller to get a CURRENT Alabama registration.
Many states that title cars this old require a notarized Bill of Sale and a CURRENT registration in the seller"s name to title the car. Some states do not title cars this old, Alabama is one of those states. All that is necessary for an Alabama resident is a Bill of Sale. The State of Alabama will issue a new registration to the new owner. The new registration is the Proof of Ownership in Alabama.
If you wish to title this car in your state check your state"s vehicle title and registration requirements. Please keep in mind that the seller can provide you with the paperwork necessary to title this car in any other state, but the winning bidder is responsible for the cost of that paperwork effort.
Vehicle Auction:
This car is on a 7 day auction. The seller will not end the auction early, and there is no Buy It Now price for this vehicle. There is also no reserve on this vehicle, so the highest bidder will get this car.
Payment:
The winning bidder must make a down payment of $500 within48 hours of the auction end. Full payment and pick up of the vehicle must be completed with 7 days of the auction end unless prior arrangements have been made with the seller. I will work with the winner bidder on reasonable efforts to get the vehicle picked up or shipped.
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder. The winning bidder is responsible for picking up or arranging shipping for the ENTIRE project. The seller will not separate any parts after the auction ends.
