Vehicle description
Other Makes. Sears Allstate - very rare Yes for 2 years SEARS stores sold cars, 1952 and 1953 Less than 800 made. When you drive into a gas station people always ask what is that ?
This car was a joint venture between Kaiser corporation and Sears. SO many parts are same as Henry J Kaiser. This car was restored 20 years ago. Some new metal welded in. All chrome was restored at that time. Paint is showing its age. Was converted from 6 volt to 12 volt system. Has original ALLSTATE motor, A the word allstate is cast into the head.
Runs and drives but overdrive does not work so car is limited to in town slow driving. Car comes with some extra parts, new front shocks, steering wheel, etc. Speedometer does NOT work, shows 47,000 miles but mileage is Unknown.
Car has good tires and brakes,
