I ran this auction a few weeks back and sold the car to a buyer in Austria. What we learned is that US Customs and Border Patrol no longer accept a Bill of Sale as a means of proving ownership, the car has to have a title or valid transferrable registration, neither of which do I possess. The car is a project or parts and will be sold with a Bill of Sale only, so please, US bidders only. During the course of packing the car I located both rear side curtains, another steering wheel, another dual gauge, and some other small pieces and parts that will be included (not shown) in this auction. Most everything is boxed up and ready for transport. I have loosely assembled most of the panels as shown in the final photos. The car rolls and steers easily and the tires hold air. You are bidding on a project/parts 1953 MGTD as shown. It comes with a number of parts as shown. There may be additional parts included, if I come across any they will be set aside with the car and included (I am still looking for the remaining side curtain). The car does not run, I am quite certain the motor is seized. It is a total project and has been sitting for years before I got it, it is pretty crusty. Since that time it has been in a heated shop (2012). It is rough and I believe the pictures show most everything clearly. If you are into the old english cars you know what you are looking at. The NOS tires have been mounted but never driven upon. They are 6.00-15L size and still have the mold nibs on them as you can see. If you are in need of TD parts here is your chance to score them.
