I bought this 1952 MGTD out of a estate to add to my personal collection of cars . I ended up buying a higher dollar collector car and I am selling some of my collection to help fund it. It was recently restored by the previous owner. I bought it and brought it home where I had a mechanic who works on british sport cars like triumphs and MG"s go through it to make it ready to drive. This car is a blast. It handles the way you would picture a british sports car to . The engine runs very strong . I have the carb tuning kit (pictured). Once in a while the float gets sticky on the carbs and you have to tap it to make it go down etc, probably can use a clean/adjustment. The brakes work great and the clutch sifts all of the 4 gears like it should. The tires look good. The car does not overheat when I drove it around. The body looks great and the underside looks really clean. the interior is in great shape as well and newer. The gauges are all working and the lights are all working. The light switch works on the factory switch but the brights to to turn off and on are on a toggle switch. The top is in good shape . I do not have the side curtains. I have a ton of extra parts that go with the sale. the back license plate and plate topper do not go with the sale. The front plate toppers go with the car as they are MG / british car brand etc . This MG TD has a clean and clear modern title. I do not want to overcall this or undercall it, I am by no means a MG TD expert. watch the video, check out the pics and call me with any questions. 563 568 1186.
