Vintage 1951Willys Overland Station Wagon 1951 4x4 Willys Wagon. This 70-year-oldsurvivor is unmolested and a head turner that gets much respect from the Jeepand 4x4 community anywhere I’ve taken it. This wagon has been a funoff-road ride and a favorite in Christmas and July 4 th parades. Itis in good, solid condition with little to no rust. I purchased it 6years ago with the intention to improve it to daily drivercondition. It has a clear North Carolina title and is currentlytagged and registered. I located a set of original OEM wheels andhad them media blasted and powder coated. I added a set of new,non-directional tires for that original, vintage look. I alsoinstalled lock out hubs and had the brakes and rear trannyrebuilt. It shifts and stops as it should. It has theoriginal L-134 “Go Devil” engine. The previous owner did a homepaint job and homemade upholstery. I never got around to redoing theinterior but there’s not much to these interiors anyway. Theexterior is suitable for daily driver status. All the glass isgood. Some duct tape removed some paint on the rear to the primer ascan be seen in the pictures but I think a shake can fix it. Thewagon currently runs but is having starter problems so it won’tstart. I don’t think the starter is the issue but the electricalconnection. I’ve haven’t had time to work on it. Thisvehicle has been garaged for at least the last 12 years but I recently sold my toybarn which is prompting me to move this classic “down the road” so someone elsecan enjoy it. I’ve got other, more pressing projects to work on andthe boss says she wants her parking space back. Local pickup only. I’m starting this auction at $1 with no reserve so have fun bidding.
