About this vehicle This 1950 Ford Custom Convertible is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work. Seller"s Notes Will except bank wire transfer within 7 days Vehicle Details 1950 Ford Custom Convertible Ratrod. This 50 Ford Convertible has 59k miles. It has been in a body shop storage for over 25 years. It has has some work done over the years. The floors and trunk have been repaired. The inner and outer rockers and some body mounts have been replaced. The doors open and close nicely with no drops at all. The frame has also had a repair around the passenger side spring berch. The previous owner passed away and I purchased it to build an awesome Ratrod but I have been redirected. The car is very complete with it’s original flat head which has 45 lbs oil pressure and good compression between 70 and 110 and seems to get better every time I run it. The transmission is manual with over drive. It seems to be good but the radiator leaks and has no brakes so I don’t run it long. It has a new master cylinder not installed. The E-brake does work but cable is frayed. The car has new tires, fuel tank, hood release cable, new battery, plugs and points, carb rebuilt, and more. The headlights, horn, interior lights, dash gauges work fine. Tail lights are not connected. The driver side windshield is cracked. The rest of the glass is good. Windows crank up and down fine. I have the original front seat frame with a few broken springs. The rear back seat cushion is there but the bottom cushion is missing. The front seat in it is a 2 door 55 Buick seat and I have a 1961 corvair rear seat that can be fitted real easy. The convertible top frame is complete but one bow will need a small weld. The lift cylinders will need work. The convertible top pump looks to be in good condition but not tested. The bottom of both doors will need repairs. The car with a little TLC could be a great Ratrod. With a lot of TLC could be a nice show car or no TLC could be a great parts car.
